Project life 2013 Week 1-9

Omg!! It has been along time since I posted anything. I have started a new job and been so busy with that. So i have an excuse.... LOL....

I have started my project life for year 2013 with my new kit from Becky Higgins the sea foam. And I love this kit it is simple and the colors are some of my favorite colors. It is my favorite kit right now, but that might change when all the new ones come out in May.

This year I decided to go as simple as my mind and hands would, I also decided on trying to stick to BH kit. Because I love paper and I always buy to much paper for project life and it took to much of my time doing one layout. The kit is cut out for me and its Project Life. It's supposed to be easy. And fast. Right?

I did use a lot of my new kit the sea foam and what is left from my clementine kit from last year. I have also signed up for the new studio calico project life kit.... YAY!!!!! Which I am so excited about. I should be getting my kit in a few days. I just can't wait.
I love to use a lot of small alphas in my layouts, tags and flairs. I get most of my products from two peas in a bucket and archives.
With that said I hope you enjoy my layouts and I hope they inspire you.

Project Life week 44-47

Hello fellow scrapers,
I can't believe it is almost the end of the year. It has been a very busy few weeks. Halloween, thanksgiving and kids out of school for a week. But I did have time for my project life of course. And I really wanted to catch up before I started my new year with project life.

Even though it has been busy I still got to be a part of a tag swap on Instagram, now that was fun. I got tags from friends all over the country and even Asia. I loved it and will be doing that again soon. I even got to use some of my tags from my Instagram friends in my layouts.

I also was hoping that I would only have two albums for this year but I don't think that's gona happen. I had to go and get myself a third album. So my third album is going to be Sep-Dec. And believe me that album is already full. Isn't that crazy!!!

Anyways, Here are some layouts from my project life for those weeks.

Project life week 40-43

Hello my scrapbooking buddies. I have been busy and far from blogging. But its a good busy, busy with scrapping, project life, my new shop on Etsy and real life.
I have also been behind on project life not months behind,thank god, but weeks. So this week I decided to at least finish up a few weeks so I don't feel so bad.
I was so excited to start because I had great pictures of my beautiful daughter on her special day and I so wanted to finish up the previous weeks so I can work on the week of her birthday. It didn't take me long and they turned out so nice.
By the way I am so happy with my album this year. I was going through and and was getting so excited that it looked the way it did. I don't regret anything because each month I learned or saw something that I liked from different social medias and add it to my pages.
Instagram has helped me connect with so many scrapers and get so many great ideas.
So here are my new Project Life layouts. I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did making them.

My new Etsy Shop

Hey my craft friends. I had to share with all of you that I have opened my new Etsy Shop. YAY!!!!
Washi Love is the name of my new shop.
I have been wanting to sell washi tape for a while. It has become my new addiction. The beauty of washi tape is you can use it for all kinds of crafting projects, gift wrapping, decorating and one of my favorites scrapbooking. So I thought to myself why don't I start my own little business. And share the love of washi tape. I am starting out small but hoping to grow.

I have polka dot washi, striped and flowered washi. I will be posting new items soon, and try to keep it fresh and new. I also ship international.

Summer fun.

This summer we were so fortunate to have so many friends and family visit us. After we came back from Disney, my beautiful friends Hayat and Hala came to visit us in Atlanta all the way from Jordan. It was great having them here with us.
Also my amazing sister in law Silke and her beautiful kids came and spent to awesome weeks with us. We spent our time wisely and toured the great locations of Atlanta.
A lot of these places we got to visit was pretty much new to me. I haven't been to most of these places and the ones I did go to was when I was a kid. So it was great to go and learn so much about Atlanta.
